International activities
The AFP is committed to working with law enforcement agencies in our region and worldwide against transnational crime, including terrorism, through the following:
- The AFP's international network has posts in more than 25 countries worldwide
- The International Deployment Group manages the deployment of Australian and Pacific Island police to international capacity-building, monitoring and peacekeeping missions
- International training teams provide a range of programs for international partners, both in Australia and offshore
- The AFP provides community policing services in external Australian territories.
