ACT Policing media
The ACT Policing Media and Marketing Team coordinates all media and marketing enquiries relating to policing activities, operations and incidents in the ACT.
The office, located at the Winchester Police Centre in Belconnen, is staffed from 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, and outside normal business hours, an on-call media officer is available to deal with media enquires relating to significant operations or policy issues. The unit is able to provide bona fide media representatives with digital stills, broadcast quality vision and related material in a variety of formats.
As a matter of policy the AFP will not comment on:
- ongoing operations; or
- any aspect of personal protection or witness protection.
