Exercise Capital impact

On November 7 and 8, ACT Policing, along with other emergency services, participated in a two-day joint counter-terrorism training exercise, to test our preparedness to respond in the event of a terrorist incident in Canberra . The exercise was conducted on Wednesday (November 7) and Thursday (November 8) within the secure perimeter of Canberra Stadium, Bruce and at a private business premises in Pialligo.

Exercises such as this are aimed at ensuring ACT Policing and it's partner agencies are prepared to act effectively in the event of a crisis.

Around 400 of the Territories' emergency responders participated in a simulated two-day counter-terrorism training exercise entitled 'Exercise Capital Impact'. The exercise was designed to test our preparedness to respond in the event of a terrorist attack.
