Drugs, cash seized; man and woman arrested

ACT Policing’s Drug Investigation Team have arrested a 50-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman after a vehicle stop on Majura Road around 10.30am yesterday (October 4).
Detectives stoped the vehicle and conducted a search of the car locating over $19,000 cash and two ounces of suspected methylamphetamine commonly known as ‘ice’.
The Bonython man will face the ACT Magistrates Court tomorrow (October 6) charged with trafficking in a drug other than cannabis and unlawful possession.
The Theodore woman was bailed from the Regional Watch House to face the ACT Magistrates Court on October 15, charged with trafficking in a controlled drug other than cannabis and possession of a drug of dependence.
