Fire at 'Flames Fitness', North Lyneham

ACT Policing is investigating a fire at Flames Fitness in North Lyneham today (19 September) that completely destroyed the premises.
Shortly after 1.50am, ACT Policing and the ACT Fire Brigade were called to the blaze. The ACT Fire Brigade extinguished the blaze, however the roof had collapsed and there was severe structural damage to the premises. No damage is believed to have been caused to the adjoining shops
As a precaution, all adjoining shops have had their electrical power cut and will be unable to trade until the building has been assessed.
The cause of the fire has not yet been established, investigations are continuing.
