The burglary occurred at a Cooksey Place address sometime between 8am and 1pm today (8 August). A three-month-old puppy, valued around $1,500, was taken.

The puppy was bought not long after the death of the victim’s son, who died from a motorcycle accident, and is named Billy after him.

Police would urge anyone who may have seen Billy or people acting suspiciously in Cooksey Place, Florey, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
