Witnesses sought to aggravated robbery

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery which occurred at Myer in Tuggeranong yesterday afternoon (September 20).

Around 1:15pm police were called to the Myer store following reports that a male and female had walked out of the shop with a large LCD television. When approached by a male shop assistant the male offender produced a large knife, telling him not to follow.

The male offender is described as 5'11" to 6’ (180 to 182cm) tall, of stocky build, with olive skin, short dark hair that is slightly receding and a round face. He was wearing a grey shirt. The female is described as 5'4" to 5'6" (162 to 167cms) tall, with long dark hair and was wearing dark coloured clothes.

The two offenders left the scene in a blue coloured 2001 Holden Astra.

Police would urge anyone who may have witnessed the incident out side the Myer Tuggeranong store around 12:30pm yesterday to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online to www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
