Witnesses sought to aggravated robbery in Chisholm

ACT Policing is appealing for witnesses in its investigation into an aggravated robbery in Chisholm yesterday (Monday, September 15).
Around 8.30pm last night a male person wearing a black balaclava and gloves entered the Civic Video store in Chisholm and used a knife to threaten staff.
The offender stole a sum of cash, left the store and then was seen to walk hurriedly to a blue or grey VN Holden Commodore with ACT registration plates. The vehicle has then driven off.
The offender was described as between 173cm (5’8”) and 178cm (5’10”) in height, possibly around 30 years old, with a stocky build, wearing a black balaclava, a black jumper and green or tan bib-and-brace overalls. He was carrying a green bag.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen suspicious persons or activity around the Chisholm shops last night; who may have an information relating to the Holden Commodore used in the robbery, or who may have any other information to assist the investigation to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
