Information Services (IS)
The AFP is an information dependent organisation, where technology is critical and facilitates the effective investigation and prevention of crime against Commonwealth interests in Australia and overseas. Information Services (IS) delivers integrated, secure and effective information and communications systems. In a growing and diversifying policing environment, IS provides and maintains secure and effective information systems and networks, nationally and internationally, to deliver information at the right time and in the right format to serve operational and management requirements.
