What attracted you to the AFP?
I was offered a traineeship in IT Services while still at University and with a young family to support, it was a very attractive option.
The opportunity of being paid while being trained was too good to turn down!
What are your impressions so far?
I love working for the AFP. The job flexibility and security suits my family lifestyle perfectly. The working conditions are great, and I work with a terrific bunch of people.
I have also had the opportunity to do a lot of travel with the AFP, having been to each State and Territory with different projects.
The highlight of my time with the AFP has been the opportunity to tour the Solomon Islands with the AFP rock band “Short Notice” along with Yothu Yindi to support the RAMSI personnel and the local population.
