Internal Audit
Internal Audit (IA) and the AFP's audit committee, the Security and Audit Team (SAT), were both established in 1985. The SAT also operates under a Charter approved by the Commissioner, and is empowered to approve the strategic audit plan and the annual internal audit program of the AFP. Furthermore, the SAT reviews all completed internal audit reports in the first instance.
